Harley House is a well-established purpose built dental practice serving the population of Borehamwood, Elstree, Shenley and Radlett. The practice dates back to 1955 and ever since has upheld the reputation of providing excellence in dental heath care. Since 2006 the clinical team has been led by partners Mr Vora and Mr Ali.
We are fortunate to have great patients who trust us and have been registered with Harley House for over 50 years. We offer a range of NHS and private dental heath care for you and your whole family. Currently we are accepting new patients.
Our location is just off the high street in Borehamwood opposite the Elstree studios and only a 10 minutes walk from the station. Having such a great location we are able to serve patients from a wide area.
Our practice has recently been refurbished with comfortable new chairs and the latest equipment, a new waiting room and decontamination suite. We offer our patients free parking when they visit us as we have a 12 space car park. We are able to cater for all patients and have a disability ramp and WC facilities.

Dr Shajee Ali
BDS (Lond) MScD (Wales) GDC Registered 69043
Dr Shajee Ali qualified at King’s College School of Medicine & Dentistry in 1993. He gained his Masters in Forensic Dentistry from University of Wales College of Medicine & Dentistry 2000.
Shajee practiced all aspects of general dentistry initially after qualifying, and undertook a course in sedation at St. Bartholemews during this time. He then gained valuable experience in Oral Surgery working first at Eastbourne Hospital and then at Guildford Royal Surrey County Hospital as a Senior House Officer for a year. He later went on to enjoy working at a number of practices before settling at Harley House to practice ethical General Dentistry with a particular interest in Forensics.
He continuously attends professional courses both nationally and internationally to update himself on current treatment types and techniques. He has attended further training for the placement of minimally invasive implants, which is proving to be a popular option to replace missing teeth. In his surgery he is able to offer patients an altogether pleasant dental experience with his state-of-the-art equipment, that includes digital sensors that reduces radiation exposure, and the treatment of decayed teeth without drilling, using Ozone Therapy.
Dr Ashish Vora

Since graduating from Kings and Guys Dental Institute in 2003. After successfully completeting his vocational training and a year as a Senior House Officer at Leeds Dental Institute, he was awarded the MFDS qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons.
Since then Ash has worked in general and specialist practice gaining experience and enhancing his skills in all aspects of dentistry and developing a special interest in Orthodontics.
Patients have the option to see Ash on various schemes including Denplan. Ash offers a full range of dental treatments with a special focus on cosmetic orthodontics using a combination of braces and veneers. This revolutionary technique is carried out without the need for anaesthesia or drilling teeth.
Ash continues his passion for dentistry by attending postgraduate courses nationally and internationally and is a member of the British Dental Association, Royal College of Surgeons, Faculty of Dental Practitioners and the British Orthodontic Society.
Jarmila is a dental hygienist/therapist who qualified at Kings College London in 2009. Jarmila delivers effective care in the treatment of all gum conditions, and strives to maintain excellent oral hygiene with her patients. She is dedicated to preventative dentistry and has a friendly sympathetic approach with the ability to put anxious patients at ease.
